২২টা বছর ধরে একটা স্মৃতি বয়ে বেড়াচ্ছি। ১৩ অক্টোবর, ১৯৮৭।
বাড়ির গেট থেকে ভাইয়ের চিৎকার। “দাদা কিশোরকুমার মারা গেছেন”। (ভাই কোথাও একটা গিয়েছিল। তাড়াহুড়ো করে ফিরে এসেছিল।)
দিল্লী দূরদর্শনে রিনি সাইমনের (এখন খান্না) রাত নটার খবর পড়া। “The noted singer Kishore kumar is no more”।
বাংলা দূরদর্শনের অবহেলা।
পরের দিন সব বাংলা কাগজ কেনা।

T.R.P কমে যাওয়ার ভয়, প্রতি মুহূর্তে একটা crisis অথবা tension না তৈরী করতে পারলে
সিরিয়াল পরিচালকের রাতের ঘুম হয় না। ভাল বাংলা সিরিয়াল সহজে হয় না।

গতকাল বাড়িতে লক্ষ্মী পূজো হলো। হঠাৎ বাচ্চু এসে যাওয়াতে আরো বেশী আনন্দ হলো। দিনটা সুন্দর কেটেছে।

I must consider myself lucky to watch the wonderful play Katha Collage on 02nd October, 2009 at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall, Bangalore.
KATHA COLLAGE thus derives its dramatic format from three stories, each infused with the timbre that accompanies all good narration. The first story titled Badebhai Sahab (Big Brother) by Premchand explores the relationship that exists between two brothers with particular reference to their adolescence.

ঠগিনী
DD বাংলার কৃপায় আবার ঠগিনী দেখলাম। আবার খুব ভাল লাগলো। সন্ধ্যা রায় এবং অনুপকুমার অসাধারণ অভিনয় করেছেন। এই ধরণের সিনেমা আর বোধহয় হবে না।

Masand's movie review: New York not convincing ...... New York wants to be a meaningful film about a relevant issue, but the makers don't seem to have the courage in their convictions.
New York has its heart in the right place and its intentions are entirely honorable.
New York failed to avoid the influence of a Bollywood masala movie. It had the potential to become a good movie. Though Rajeev Masand has rated it 2/5, it definitely deserves to be watched at least once.

Oriental Pavillion, Whitefiled, Bangalore, offers good chinese buffet for lunch at reasonable rates. The ambience is good.
Oriental Pavilion even offered sugar free dessert for buffet lunch. This was new for me. I understand that they are offering buffet lunch for last four months. I am not sure whether this is an introductory offer. Can they sustain it?
শনি-রবিবারের বাংলা চ্যানেলের সিনেমা দেখলে মনে হয় প্রসেনজিৎ ছাড়া বাংলা সিনেমাতে কোন হিরো নেই।
প্রায় সব বাংলা চ্যানেলেই প্রসেনজিতের ছবি।
